mission
The Give Something Back International Foundation is a non-profit educational institution. The purpose of the GSBI Foundation is to provide life-changing, quality educational opportunities to children, young adults, and teachers around the world that will have a lasting impact on their future and that of their families. “Education to Change Lives” aptly sums up our mission!
2005 GSBI accomplishments
In 2005, the Foundation continued its educational support of needy and disadvantaged children in Southeast Asia. Through the generous support of our donors, in 2005, the foundation provided scholarship funding for 76 children in Vietnam and 10 children in Thailand.
Additionally, the Foundation implemented a special tsunami project providing support to the Khao Thong Village, in the Muang District, in the province of Krabi, which was heavily damaged by the tsunami. Through the generous support of 74 donors, the foundation is providing multi-year scholarship support to 30 elementary and 30 secondary school children in the village.
Finally, we’re proud to report that the Foundation’s Global Virtual Classroom Program is now in its third year. The 2004-05 Program welcomed over 2,500 students from 57 schools around the world to participate in the program
