Q1. There's only one computer at school connected to the Internet and I don't have a computer at home, so I'm not sure if I'll be able to check my mail once a day. Can I still participate?
A1. You should try to reach an agreement with the other teachers in your school concerning your need to use the computer. For example, make it known that you need the computer every day from 4:00 to 4:30. If you can do that, you should be able to participate without any problem. Also, be sure to let your teammates know why you might be slow to reply sometimes.

If you or your students aren't going to have adequate time at the computers, you're better off waiting until your school's computer facilities catch up with your needs, since you will only end up disappointing your partners and your students.

Q2. Can I have my class participate even though I myself don't know how to create a Web page?
A2. The main role of teachers is to support their students' work. The minimum you need to know is how to make a simple Web page (how to insert images and make hyperlinks to other pages), and how to upload and download files to and from a Web server via FTP. If you can't find pointers on how to accomplish these basic activities, either on the web, or from your colleagues, drop us a line, and we'll help you find the necessary information.

You can also identify a mentor to help -- a parent, teacher, student, etc.
